Every fall, we hold a webinar over Zoom designed to introduce students to the PhD in EECS, demystifying the application and funding processes; sharing their own PhD experiences; and helping students envision where the degree can take their careers. The discussion typically includes faculty, current and soon-to-graduate PhD students, and alumni who’ve applied their degrees to a broad range of career paths.

2022’s webinar featured EECS at MIT faculty and staff (who are on the graduate admission committee) discussing the evaluation of applications to the EECS PhD program. The admission committee members offer insightful guidance on the preparation of doctoral graduate applications (for submission to MIT or to any graduate program).
