Benefits-eligible MIT faculty, staff, and postdocs (associates and fellows), can use up to 15 days of Backup Care (combined Child and Adult/Senior Care) per fiscal year.
Beginning July 1, 2025, MIT benefits-eligible staff, faculty, and postdocs will have access to savings on a number of family and education support services offered through Bright Horizons Enhanced Family Supports.
The Technology Childcare Centers are administered by the MIT HR Work-Life, which offers MIT affiliates and their families a broad range of resources, including referrals to child care services, information on parental leave, breastfeeding support, parenting consultations, backup child- and adult care services, and assistance with other work-life solutions.
