Thanks to all who participated in the Women’s Technology Program Pi Day fundraising challenge!

WTP participants engage in team problem-solving during a math class.

More than 150 people made contributions to support the Women’s Technology Program (WTP) during MIT’s 24-HR Challenge on Pi Day (March 14).

The number of donors unlocked an additional $5,000 gift from from a generous anonymous donor.

WTP is a rigorous four-week summer academic and residential experience where high school students explore engineering through hands-on classes, labs, and team-based projects. Proceeds from the Pi-Day Challenge will benefit programming shared by both the EECS and Mechanical Engineering curriculum tracks.
