Thomas Casey – Digital Process Engineer, Evonik
Thomas is focused on process improvement at Evonik through internal development, academic collaborations, and industrial partnerships. Since joining Evonik in 2021, he has designed and implemented initiatives in digital transformation of chemical processes while advancing efforts to leverage external collaborations and partnerships to create internal value. Before joining Evonik Thomas earned degrees in Biochemistry and Physical Chemistry before developing a career in applications, instrumentation, and software development in the field of Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy. Thomas has worked in both academic and industrial settings over the past decade and can advise on the challenges and considerations that are important when planning a career in science.
