The EECS Alliance is hosting a last minute visit by Boeing/Wisk. If you are interested in learning more about Boeing or Wisk, or interested in potential job opportunities, please attend! Refreshments will be provided. 

Presenters

Dr. Jeff Saunders

Dr. Saunders is an Associate Technical Fellow at Boeing’s Aurora Flight Sciences with expertise in autonomy algorithms, path planning, autonomous decision making, and flight control. He is currently the Onboard Autonomy Architect for the Boeing/Wisk joint venture for Urban Air Mobility, designing the autonomy to ferry passengers in the national airspace without a pilot. 

He was Chief Engineer of an autonomy program to create generalized autonomy systems for UF3 and UAM programs.  He was the Software and GNC IPT lead for the Autonomous Aerial Cargo Utility System (AACUS), organizing software and algorithm development to enable helicopter vehicles to autonomously deliver payloads to unprepared areas. 

Jeff received a PhD from Brigham Young University in 2009.

Meghan Write

Meghan is the Production System IPT Leader at Wisk and is responsible for the development and execution of Wisk’s first production system for the Gen 6 program.

Prior to joining the Gen 6 program, Meghan has held a variety of leadership roles in engineering and operations including 737 Manufacturing, BCA Quality Engineering and BDS Operational Excellence. Throughout her 10 years at Boeing, she has worked across the product lifecycle from early stage R&D to customer support. Her passion for staying close to the product is a consistent thread in her career

Meghan has an B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from MIT (‘13) and was an LGO Fellow (‘19)  earning an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and MBA from MIT
