Want to get into MIT?
|
At MIT, students select a field of study at the end of the
freshman year. Those who wish to major in any MIT undergraduate
program should apply for admission
to MIT. The EECS Undergraduate Office cannot help in this
process.

To MIT
Freshman and undergraduate transfer admission to MIT is run by the MIT Admissions Office. Bulletins and application materials are not available from the EECS Undergraduate Office.
To EECS
MIT undergraduates may select any course of study during the freshman
year. The guides listed to the right may be helpful.
To VI-A Internship Program
MIT EECS undergraduates may apply to the VI-A Internship Program during
the junior year.
To M.Eng.
The EECS Master of Engineering program is a five-year program for
MIT undergraduates. NOT for those from outside MIT. MIT EECS undergraduates may apply during the
junior year by submitting a checklist to 38-476.
To Ph.D.
MIT EECS undergraduates may apply to the EECS Graduate Program, which
leads to a doctoral degree, during the senior or M.Eng. years.
