A memorial gathering to honor and celebrate the life and accomplishments of Arthur (Art) Clarke Smith who passed away April 23, will be held on Friday, October 29 at 2:30 pm in the Stata Center Kirsch Auditorium, 32-123. A reception will be held in the Stata R&D fourth floor Commons immediately following the service.
In sharing the Institute announcement about this special service, Dept. Head Grimson noted to his colleagues: " I hope you will be able to join us in recognizing and remembering the tremendous contributions of Art to the Department and to the Institute."
