Announcing the annual EECS Masterworks Symposium, to be held Thursday, April 29 in the R&D dining area on the fourth floor of the Stata Center, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
Masterworks is an opportunity for EECS students completing their Master's theses to show their work in a public setting. For the faculty, staff and other students it is an opportunity to see some of the nifty things going on in our department. There will be refreshments and, for the best presentations, prizes.
This year, as in the past few, the Masterworks symposium will be a poster session. Submissions will be through the EECS web site, which will begin accepting them on or about March 19. Instructions for how to submit will be sent around shortly. Endorsements of student submissions by thesis supervisors should be sent by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are finishing or have finished a Master's Thesis in EECS we encourage you to submit your work to the Symposium. If you are curious about what is happening in the department, please mark the date and plan to come to the Symposium. (See the spotlight gallery from Masterworks 2009).
