There are several programs designed to facilitate interactions between the department and industry.

Industrial Connection Program (ICP)

This program provides a formal mechanism for interaction between companies and EECS students. Our goal is to facilitate efficient communication for the benefit of both the EECS student community and the business world. Membership in the ICP is open to organizations with a strong committment to electrical engineering and computing--organizations that would both benefit from and contribute to this interchange.

VI-A Internship Program

This program gives EECS students the opportunity to combine industrial experience with academic learning. Students enroll during the sophomore year and typically receive a bachelor's and Master of Engineering degree after a total of five years, with three summers and one semester spent at the company.
