I arrived at MIT in 1959, and when I was first shown Building 20, I was told it would be torn down shortly. In the late 60's, the Tech Model Railroad Club was looking for new space because of the imminent demise of Building 20. I'll attend the commemoration, but frankly I won't really believe it's finally being demolished until I actually see the rubble. You ought to sell souvenir pieces.
