The Hurricane of 1955

In residence, Building 20, B Wing, the years 1954-1955: I do gratefully remember Dottie Scanlon who came in on a weekend at the end of August 1955 to type the last-minute corrections to my MS thesis, so that I could hand it in on time and go and marry Connie with a clear conscience two weeks later on September 10. I also remember Dick Adler battling his way in from Concord during the height the 1955 Hurricane to review the manuscript and give me the OK to have the final version typed. Dick new of my impending deadline, and he and Dottie graciously came to the wedding later. With fond remembrance after all these years, to Dottie Adler et al,
