In 1973 I completed my doctoral work with the MIT Physics Department. Shortly thereafter, I accepted a position with Dr. Ed Taylor as assistant editor of the American Journal of Physics, with offices in Building 20. My job was to select and correspond with referees and authors with regard to submitted manuscripts. The American Journal of Physics is an archival journal sponsored by the American Association of Physics Teachers.
