Cody Gilleland Named Regeneron Prize Recipient

Cody Gilleland, EECS Graduate Student, is inagural recipient of the Regeneron prize, June 2013

EECS graduate student, Cody Gilleland has been named as the first a recipient of “The Regeneron Prize for Creative Innovation by a Graduate Student.”  The national award is a new initiative by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. to recognize scientists early on in their career and to recognize their accomplishments.   Nominees were to submit proposals for a dream project in the biomedical field. 

Cody was selected from the 10 national finalists invited to meet with company scientists and to give presentations about their proposals.
