MIT Graduate Student Receives Bose Fellowship

October 28, 1997


Mr. Leaf A. Jiang was chosen to receive the Bose Fellowship in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT.

Mr. Jiang is currently registered in EECS and expects to complete his Master of Engineering degree in May, 1998. He expects to begin work in the doctoral program in the field of Energy and Electromagnetic Systems in September, 1998. While at MIT Mr. Jiang has been a Robert C. Byrd Scholar, a Starr Foundation Scholar, a Harry O'Kean Memorial Scholar, a William & Anita Stergoire Scholar and a member of Tau Beta Pi.

The Bose Foundation has long been a supporter of graduate education at MIT. The Bose Foundation Fellowship was established in 1988 and supports one graduate student per year in the School of Engineering.
