MIT Grad Student from Montclair, NJ, Awarded Microsoft Fellowship

A Massachusetts Institute of Technology graduate student from Montclair, NJ, has been awarded a Microsoft Fellowship for the 1997-98 academic year.

Mr. Jeremy S. De Bonet, a graduate of the Newburgh Free Academy and Columbia University, received his Master of Science Degree at MIT in June, 1997. While an undergraduate at Columbia Mr. De Bonet won the National Science Foundation Award for Excellence in Applied Mathematics and a National Eye Institute Travel Fellowship. He was a member of the Rugby team for 4 years, team captain 1993-94, and assistant coach, 1994-95. He is currently working on his PhD at MIT in the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory.
