National Semiconductor Renews Graduate Fellowship for Second Year for Two EECS Graduate Students.

The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science is pleased to announce that the National Semiconductor Corporation has renewed fellowship support for both Mr. Christorofos Hadjicostis and Mr. Thucydides Xanthopoulos.

Mr. Hadjicostis, who was born in Cyprus, received his Bachelor of Science degree from MIT in 1993 and entered graduate school in September, 1994. As an undergraduate he was a member of HTN and TBP honor societies, and he is currently working on his Master of Science degree in the area of Systems, Communications and Control.

Mr. Xanthopoulos was born in Greece and received his Bachelor of Science degree from MIT in 1972. He entered graduate school in February, 1992 and completed his Master of Science degree in February, 1995. He is currently working on his Ph.D. degree in the area of Electronics Computers and Systems.

The National Semiconductor Corporation established this fellowship in EECS in 1996. Along with providing full tuition and stipend, they also include a summer internship at their plant in California.
