Algorithmic aspects of parallel computing systems. Design and analysis of parallel computing mechanisms. Topics: circuits, network algorithms, message routing, data-parallel programming, message passing, active messages, multithreaded languages, advanced topics. This course is intended for doctoral students, as well as well-prepared MEng students with good math backgrounds.
