EECS programming team wins ACM Gold

Three Massachusetts Institute of Technology Electrical Engineering and Computer Science students, Brian Jacokes (2007) Eric Price (2008) and Hubert Hwang (2007), supported by their EECS graduate student coaches Jelani Nelson, Daniel Dumitran and Ivo Riskov and EECS Professor of Computer Science Martin Rinard, have won fourth place overall out of 88 teams competing at the 31st Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) International Collegiate Programming Finals held March 12-16 in Tokyo and sponsored by IBM.
