Discusses several approaches to turning a vague concept idea into a well defined project. Introduces how to structure a project into manageable smaller units. Concepts of modularity, scalability, and flexibility of system designs for both hardware and software projects will be discussed in the context of the student's own projects. This subject is required for entrance into the EECS projects lab and should be taken in conjunction with 6.UAP or 6.ThM.
