Fonstad elected IEEE Fellow

Clifton G. Fonstad, Jr. has been elected an IEEE Fellow, one of the Institute's most prestigious honors. Each year, following a rigorous evaluation procedure, the IEEE Fellow Committee recommends a select group of recipients for election to IEEE Fellow.

Fonstad is cited for his "leadership in compound semiconductor heterostructure devices." Official recognition will appear on the IEEE website in January, 2005.
