Henry I. Smith, EECS Professor and member of the Research Laboratory of Electronics, was the 4th annual George and Carolyn Arfken Physics Scholar in residence a the University of Miami in Oxford, Ohio, March 8-10, 2004. He delivered a public lecture, "The role of lithography in nanoscale science and engineering," the Physics Seminar "Lithography: the key enabler in current and future research and industries," and a short course, "The art and science of electron-beam lithography."
