The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT has an opening for a part-time, nine-month Technical Instructor for EECS teaching laboratories.
Duties include student supervision and helping students in their lab exercises and design projects for the following MIT courses:
6.002: Circuits and Systems, 6.101: Introductory Analog Electronics Laboratory, 6.111: Introductory Digital Systems Laboratory, 6.115: Microcomputer Project Laboratory, 6.121J: Bioelectronics Project Laboratory, 6.301: Solid-State Circuits, and 6.302: Feedback Systems
Required Skills: Applicant should be familiar with fundamentals of analog, digital and microprocessor circuit design. The ideal applicant will be someone with a broad background in electronics who enjoys helping undergraduate students one-on-one with simple to advanced circuit problems, and who can also teach the proper use of analog and digital oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, digital multimeters, etc. BS in some engineering field required.
Work times are partial day Saturday and full-day Sunday during the academic year.
