Abstract

Dr. Lander, Director of the Whitehead / MIT Center for Genome Research and a leader of the International Human Genome Project, will describe current events in genomics and forecast biomedical research in the coming century -- with a special focus on the rapidly growing role of computer science at the cutting edge.
