Vahid Tarokh has just been named the winner of this year's NSF Alan T. Waterman Award.
This Award was established by an act of Congress and is presented annually by the National Science Foundation and National Science Board to an outstanding young researcher under the age of 35 in any field of science or engineering funded by the National Science Foundation.
The EECS Department extends warmest congratulations to Vahid on this singular honor.
